Hello everyone,

The foster child grant deadline is July 1st.  On the form it states where the form can be faxed or mailed.  This is for foster youth aged out of C&P custody (or will soon if entering college this fall).

This can be worth a lot of “free” grant funding for youth in college or post-secondary training.  It has to be renewed each year.  Please check to make sure your youth has filled this out.  If they are not sure, have them complete another one.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Take care,

Jen

Summer Safety Tips

Please take a moment to look at the attached flyer.  It’s great info!

Summer is coming !!!
Now is a great time to remind all families and caregivers in your life about keeping young children safe this summer.
Infants, toddlers and young children are generally less aware of dangers around them and depend on adults to keep them safe.
During warm weather, take steps to prevent falls from windows, keep children safe in cars and encourage water safety, especially around pools.
