scholarship opp for youth in care

 

 

Once again this year, Hope Worldwide is offering our youth a chance to write an essay and win a scholarship for college and books. Four prizes will be awarded from $1500 to $750. The youth who win must attend their martin luther king celebration on jan. 5 at the lawrence high school performing arts center.  Please read the attached flyer and please encourage eligible youth to apply and offer them support to do so.

PAYA - great training for any foster parents of teens!!!

It was scheduled for today, but we moved it to next week.

If you have a teens in your home, this is a great training!

You can receive PACT for working with the teens on independent living skills and the teens can earn rewards like drivers education.

Hello Everyone,

 

Please see the Massachusetts Network of Foster Care Alumni invite attached to this e-mail.  The MassNFCA’s annual dinner is November 15th from 6-9pm at the Holiday Inn and Suites, Lakeside Ave, Marlborough, MA 01752.  Please forward this invitation to interested foster youth ages18+.  Registration for the Alumni Thanksgiving Dinner has also been posted to their Facebook page as well as to massnfca.org.  Please RSVP no later than 11/7/12 by calling 866-212-0875.  At this time I have room for two more youth in my car and it is first come first serve.  If the youth (up to 2) would like me to transport them, I would need them to call me by 11/4/12 and they can leave a message, 978-825-3918.
