a fundraiser- A ride for Maevyn

Karen Gauthier is a past foster mother for this office. She took guardianship of a child with severe disabilities after being shaken.

Maevyn is now about 10 and Karen can no longer lift her in and out of the car to go places.

She is in need of a handicap van so she can take Maevyn to her grandmother’s farm that she enjoys as well as to just about any other place, as now she is mostly homebound.

Karen asked me to sell Calendars for her at the office.

The calendars are $20.00 and there is a prize for every day in January.  Most are gift certificates etc.

I have them available now. If interested you can mail a check to me made payable to “A ride for Maevyn”

I will fill out the calendar form and get to karen for the first drawing!

Hello Everyone,

Please let me know if you have a youth who is in DCF Care and Placement who is a senior and who will be graduating this year from High School. They are able to get $300 towards senior expenses. Please fill out the attached life skills request along with a letter from the youth stating who they are, what they will be using the money towards (i.e. prom, school pictures etc) with their signature, and a signed w-9 form (also attached). Please ensure that there is an opening mailing address in family net preferably to DCF. Let me know if you have any questions.  I am in Lynn on Thursdays.  Feel free to send me an email if you leave the completed paperwork in my mailbox.
