Family Funday ,Saturday ,October 5th- 9am to 4 pm

 

Family Fun Day  which is being held this Saturday, October 5th from 9 am to 4pm Both inside and outside of Timothy's in Danvers. (the site of the old Village Green)   There will be shopping, raffle items, crafts ,Music,  Vendor tents , Ice Cream, Candy and More.  Join in for a BBQ picnic outdoors or in the cozy grill room indoors. *A percentage of proceeds will be donated towards the Danvers Dog Park.

My friends and I have season passes. We could not use two of them last night so I traded them in for a small fee.

The show is tomorrow night.

The people who couldn't go are not looking for money, so it's just the $10 exchange fee.

So Sat night show. At North Shore Music Theater.

Please share the attached flyer with your foster parent’s _These four workshops are part of the Grandparent parenting again series from Families First.

 

The tentative location for the trainings is 10 Church st. Lynn (Lynn housing Authority community Room) and or Lynn DCF 330 Lynnway suit 201.

 

The workshop will take place from 9:30 -11 am

 

We don’t have child care but foster parents can access Kids’ net for no cost day respite.

 

I’m requesting RSVP five days before each workshop.

If a foster parent is the Educational Surrogate, then that role should be reflected on the CPA and documented in the case record.

It's that time again!  I again have discounted tickets for the Fair.

The prices are $8 for admission and 11 RIDES for $22. (1 ticket =1 ride)

Regular admission is $11 weekday and $15 weekend so savings of up to $7!

(Children under 8 with an adult are FREE)

 

IMPORTANT: Deadline for tickets is October 1st. Please do not wait until the last minute. It's very difficult for me to run back and forth for last minute tickets. I am happy to take checks made payable theto TOPSFIELD FAIR.  These checks wont be cashed until after I hand them in on October 1^st, so there is no reason to wait until the last minute!

PAYA TRAINING

Hi all

For any foster parents working with teens, this is a “must-do”

PAYA- Preparing Adolescents for Young Adulthood is a training that foster parents can do with the teens.

This gives teens the tools they need to go out on their own when their time in care is over.

I am doing a training at Lahey Behavioral Health from 1-4 on October 2^nd.
