Hello everyone,

Attached is the foster child grant (see below for requirements).  The deadline for submission is July 1^st.  If you have a youth going this fall to post-secondary

School (college or vocational training that accepts FAFSA) and they aged out or will age out at 18 via C&P, please have them fill this out as soon as possible and submit to the

contact information listed on the attached form.

 

*full time student and under age 25 years old

*have filed a 2014-2015 FAFSA- Free Application for Federal Student Aid. (The FAFSA website is www.fafsa.ed.gov)

*a permanent resident of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

*in the custody of DCF through a Care and Protection Petition until my 18th birthday.

(Youth who turned 18 in the custody of DCF may or may not have remained in DCF placement past their 18th birthday.)
