Medical Visits Needed

I  didn't attach the other email  But workers are getting notices when these are over due! so please make sure to send in encounter forms! thanks!

As you can see from the below e-mail, medical screenings are now being tracked by child and social worker.  Can you please remind foster parents as you meet with them to make sure the encounter forms are filled out for the 7 and 30 day medical screenings.  If a full screening is done at 7 days, both boxes can be checked.  Thank you.

Kid's Net Training Schedule

Hi all.
I am sure you all got this from MSPCC, but just in case I am sending it along via email.
There are some great trainings on here!
Please make sure you RSVP to me or to Nancy Lyons so that we can make sure if there is a change you get notified.  You are welcome at any office training!

Hi Carla,
Attached is the training plan that was mailed out to all foster parents on the DCF download in the Northern Region.  The only exception is that the first two pages (Weymouth and Arlington) were not sent as they are now part of the Southern Region.  I had agreed to schedule trainings through June for those two offices because I have had a relationship with them for the past 10 years!!
It was good to see you at the Lynn traininig!...............Carol

WinterBlast 2011 is coming!

Reminder! A great way to get the kids out of the house! I looked online! looks like they will have arts and crafts, a mechanical bull, giveways, free lunch and much more.  Get those kids OUTTA THE HOUSE!!!

Looks like fun and it's FREEEEEE!!!!!

Dear Mark,

A social worker at our church suggested that the kids in your organization might enjoy an invitation to a fun event called WinterBlast held at our church, Grace Chapel (an interdenominational church) in Lexington, on Saturday, February 5th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.  WinterBlast is a huge, take-over-the-whole-building carnival that we offer to help kids get out of the house and have some fun.  We have large inflatable obstacle courses, a mechanical bull, arts and crafts, video games, interactive shows, and LOTS of food!  Best of all, this is a totally free event!

There is no proselytizing at this event.  We host it in order to serve the kids and families in our community with no strings attached.

You can find out more about WinterBlast online at www.grace.org/winterblast.  We’d also be happy to answer any further questions you may have.  If you think some of the kids/families at Salem DCF might be interested, please let me know so we can reserve parking and welcome them.

We so hope you will be able to join us!

Warmly,

Richard Rhodes
