Please let ALL foster parents (kinship, child specific and unrestricted) who foster infants and toddlers that they MUST attend the safe sleep training… there is one offered in Lynn on Tuesday October 14TH from 10 to noon. If they cannot attend the daytime one Haverhill is offering an evening training on Wed. Oct. 8th and
Lawrence is holding an evening one on Tuesday Nov, 12th.

Hi everyone,
Below are the dates that either Tim O'Brien or Kristen Quinlan (both ETV social worker's from Adolescent Services Unit at DCF Central)
will be visiting all the state's two-year and four year colleges and universities. I strongly encourage if you have a foster youth on your case load attending one of these colleges, have them attend their assigned session. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Each academic semester, DCF Education and Training Social Workers visit many of the
Massachusetts public colleges and universities. Students are able to meet and discuss academic
and financial planning, as well as other student support services. Advising days are also a great
opportunity for DCF students to connect with one another. Upcoming days at state universities and
