Free Trauma-Informed Training for Foster and Adoptive Families

Hello Friends-

I wanted to let you know about a FREE resource for foster and adoptive families. On Saturday, October 6th, from 1-4pm at Grace Chapel - Lexington, there will be a training to help families understand the impact of complex trauma on child development and give families tools to compassionately and competently care for kids from hard places.

Fostering Hope New England, will be leading this training hosted by Grace Chapel. Executive Director, and TBRI® Practitioner, Jonathan Reid, will lead the training and introduce the model and principles of the intervention. Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) is an evidence-based, attachment-centered care model based on the work of Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross through the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU. It has transformed the way I parent not only my foster children, but my bio kids as well. You can learn a little more about TBRI here

Please feel free to share the registration link with any families you feel might be interested or who might benefit from this training...

Info and Registration: tbrigracechapel.eventbrite.com

We will have several additional trainings this fall. I will share that info, if you would be interested, as details are confirmed. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for all you do to serve foster/adoptive youth! We appreciate your hard work to bring healing and hope to these kids.

Best wishes.

Mike
