WinterBlast 2011 is coming!

Looks like fun and it's FREEEEEE!!!!!

Dear Mark,

A social worker at our church suggested that the kids in your organization might enjoy an invitation to a fun event called WinterBlast held at our church, Grace Chapel (an interdenominational church) in Lexington, on Saturday, February 5th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.  WinterBlast is a huge, take-over-the-whole-building carnival that we offer to help kids get out of the house and have some fun.  We have large inflatable obstacle courses, a mechanical bull, arts and crafts, video games, interactive shows, and LOTS of food!  Best of all, this is a totally free event!

There is no proselytizing at this event.  We host it in order to serve the kids and families in our community with no strings attached.

You can find out more about WinterBlast online at www.grace.org/winterblast.  We’d also be happy to answer any further questions you may have.  If you think some of the kids/families at Salem DCF might be interested, please let me know so we can reserve parking and welcome them.

We so hope you will be able to join us!

Warmly,

Richard Rhodes

D oes anyone have any reccomendations for this foster parent?

Carla,

Do you have resources on food obsession?  I'm trying to do what I think makes sense to help her out of this rut but I'm not seeing any progress.  Thinking I should consult the experts.  Any book ideas or articles??
