 Spring 2011 Educational Trainings

Adoptive Families Together (AFT) is thrilled to present two exciting educational trainings this Spring. The first is a training on a new type of therapy called Neurofeedback that has shown to have much success especially with kids with a history of Trauma. Our presenter, Dr. Leslie Sternberg, is a Psychologist who specializes in Neurofeedback  at Metrowest Neurofeedback.

Our second training entitled, “When the Truth Hurts” discusses how to talk to children about tough issues in their biological family history. Our presenter is Charity Bell, the director of the Kid’s Net program in Boston and also a foster mom to over 70 babies.

Our free trainings are open to anyone with a connection to adoption and/or foster care. Pre-adoptive families, Adoptees and Birth parents are also welcome.
