Beyonce & youth scholarship opportunity

 

 

In honor of Social Work Month, help us recognize an outstanding social worker!   Nominate a social worker you know, or yourself by March 28th and you could win a pair of tickets to see Beyoncé! (Gillette Stadium, June 3rd) Entries are open to social workers working in Massachusetts and who work with children in foster care. Winner will be chosen and announced in early April. Click here to nominate someone!   We are now accepting applications for our annual Mercedes Legacy of Smiles Scholarship. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a youth who has spent time in the foster care system, has engaged in community service and who is enrolled in a post-secondary education program next year. More information about the scholarship can be found here; applications are due May 6th.  Join us at An Evening to Remember on Thursday, April 28th in Boston to support our mission and to provide everything local youth in foster care need to have a fabulous prom this spring! Tickets start at just $35.
