Hello everyone,
This area office is hosting an Information fair for foster teens 16+ to learn about signing on, getting into their first apartment, buying a car do's and don'ts, options for after high school/HiSET.
And there will be older foster youth present to talk about their experiences and advice.
The event is 2/18 during school vacation from Noon-1:30pm and there will be food and drinks.
Please encourage your 16+ foster youth to attend, learn and ask questions.

WHY: Because you need more information about your options! Think college…future careers…signing on with DCF post 18…how to buy a car…how to get your first apartment…know what supports you are eligible for…and hear from older foster youth who have first-hand experience!
