Toddler & Grown-up Art ClassesStart Tuesday, May 13th The class will meet on Tuesdays from 9:30-10:15 am for 6 weeks. Cost is $75 and includes all materials. We do ALL the clean up and aprons are available for both kids and grown-ups. Mom of toddler and art therapist Maria Atherton will lead the class. Two fun craft activities are planned for each week and will encourage budding fine motor skills and creativity. Space is limited. May is National Foster Care MonthToday, like every day, approximately 5- 10 children will come into the custody of The Department of Social Services in the Salem office alone. Kids who go to schools and churches and live and play right here on the north shore. It's a frightening experience for a child to suddenly be removed from everything and everyone they know. These kids need loving, nurturing families who will open their homes. If you might be interested in caring for children and teens who are deserving of a safe, loving home, please call Carla King, Foster Parent Recruiter, at 978-825-3862 or 1-800-KIDS-508. Foster parents receive ongoing support from the Salem office, MSPCC, and local support groups. Do to our part, The Children's Piazza is offering 1/2 price admission all day every day for foster care parents and their foster children during the month of May. Foster parents, come play with us! |
